What you need:

  • Glue stick
  • Lollipop stick, scissors
  • 2 sheets of wood printed craft paper
  • 2 different sheets of craft paper for each sail
  • 1 additional sheet of craft paper for the flag
  • Hot glue gun  (optional)

Cut the 2 sheets of wood printed craft paper into a rectangle. Glue the 2 sheets of wood printed craft paper together using a glue stick. Fold the sheets of wood printed craft paper in half and crease.

Fold the top corners down to create a point, leaving about an inch at the bottom. Crease the edges of the folds.

Fold up the bottom 2 edges on both sides that are not part of the point.

Tuck the corners in on both sides.

Open the triangle and press down to form a square, then press edges to crease.

Fold up the open 2 edges, in opposite directions, to form a triangle and press edges to crease.

Open the triangle from the center and fold down to create a smaller square.

  • Pull points open to create the hull of the boat, press bottom edge to crease.
  • Cut 2 sails from 2 different sheets of craft paper and a triangle shaped flag for the top of the mast. Attach the 2 sails and the flag to a lollipop stick using a glue stick or hot glue.
  • Make hole in center of boat for the mast (lollipop stick).
