Serve up this timeless libation to your guests. Classic mojitos are perfect for any gathering. Looking for a little tweak to the drink, make it a Raspberry Mojito – just as delicious.

  1. 1 cup loosely packed mint leaves
  2. 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 4 tablespoons lime zest
  4. (about 2 limes)
  5. 4 tablespoons lime juice
  6. (about 2 limes)
  7. 2 cups crushed ice, divided
  8. 1 cup spiced rum, divided
  9. 4 cups club soda, divided
  10. Garnish: mint leaves, lime zest strips
  1. In the work bowl of a food processor, combine mint leaves, sugar, lime zest, and lime juice. Pulse until mint is finely chopped. Divide mint mixture among 4 glasses. Add 1/2 cup crushed ice to each glass. Add 1/4 cup rum and 1 cup club soda to each glass, stirring to combine. Garnish with additional mint leaves and lime zest, if desired. Serve immediately.
  2. To make a raspberry mojito, add 1/2 cup frozen raspberries that have been slightly thawed to sugar lime mixture when pulsing in food processor.
  1. Note: If you do not like the chopped mint and raspberry pieces in your drink, strain the finished drink into another glass, and discard solids.
