Ingredients
  1. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
  2. 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  3. 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  4. 2/3 cup sugar
  5. 2 large eggs
  6. 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  7. Strawberry Coulis (recipe follows)
  8. Garnish: whipped topping, strawberries, fresh mint leaves
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Spray 2 (3-inch) round cake pans with baking spray with flour. Line bottoms of pans with parchment paper; spray with baking spray with flour.
  2. In the top of a double boiler, combine butter and chocolates. Place over simmering water, and cook, whisking constantly, until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat. Add sugar and eggs, whisking until well combined. Stir in cocoa. Pour batter into prepared pans. Place pans on a rimmed baking sheet, and bake for 25 minutes or until a thin crust forms on top. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes. Invert onto a plate. Serve with Strawberry Coulis. Top with whipped topping, strawberries, and mint, if desired.

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  2. 2 teaspoons confectioners’ sugar
  3. 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
  1. In the container of a blender, combine all ingredients. Process on high until smooth. Using the back of a spoon, press mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a small bowl. Discard solids. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
