Fall leaves, pumpkins (to carve and to bake with), Halloween costumes, tailgating food, and crisper, cooler temps—these are the things I love about fall! When there are so many great reasons to enjoy this season, it is really hard to choose just one.
I can tell when autumn is on its way in my area. The leaves begin their beautiful color transformation, and you can smell an aroma in the air that makes you want to unpack sweaters and get ready for Halloween.
In our current issue you will be inspired to host a party or a dinner and decorate your dining room and porch! We are all about pumpkins in this issue. Learn how to make beautiful centerpieces, outdoor displays, and even jack ‘o lanterns. Fill your house with autumn beauty.
If you are looking for ways to host big celebrations, our Monster Bash is fun for the kiddos in your family. The treats are tops, and it’s easy to pull together. If low-key sounds better to you and you have lots of fall birthdays like I do in my family, celebrate everyone with a dinner. Spaghetti is always a favorite, so we came up with a Spaghetti and Meatball Casserole that is full of flavor and gooey cheese! Save room for dessert, though, because our decadent Triple Chocolate Brownie Cake will have you swooning—creamy Caramel Buttercream Frosting between enormous brownie cake layers topped with chocolate morsels and chopped caramel candy squares. Yum!
It’s that time of year. Football fans, get ready to put on your colors and host a pre-game party with recipes from our tailgating feature. From chili to cheese dip to bacon muffins, our ideas will make your spread the winner.
Make this fall the best ever! Go to our Facebook page and tell us what you love most about autumn.
